Phrase Shuffler: Prototype Break Scrambler MIDI Tool with Ned Rush

Phrase Shuffler is a collaboration between me and Ned Rush. Ned's a master at working with breaks in Live and wanted a device that would allow him to resequence = breaks in chunks, just like they did in the old days!!

I've been playing with this thing and it is insane. The secret trick is to use 3 1/8 notes as the chunk size - Ned says it's what the old school DnB producers used and I can confirm, it works. This device makes Amen/Think/Apache/whatever break you wanna use variations so quickly it's hard to to believe - you'll never want to use a tracker again. Combine it with a subdivider like Divs to make retrigs like the -Rxy command Renoise. (See video below)

Note: This is a free prototype device, so it's a little rough around the edges. A robust version is coming... TBA!
